What to do on your visit
Ardno is very well placed. The lovely historic town of Inveraray is 12 miles away and there is supermarket shopping in Dunnon (see the Dunoon live webcam) (30 Miles). Access to the Western Isles is 50 miles away by boat from Oban. Glasgow Airport is also 50 miles away, and the Isle of Bute is one hour’s drive.
Argyll has many famous gardens and other places of interest, all within easy driving distance. There is a post office, village shop and a filling station within 7 miles of the cottage.
A sports complex, including indoor swimming pool, ice rink and pony trekking is only six miles away at Lochgoilhead.
The facilities are excellent, and yet the location perfect for a totally peaceful holiday in the glorious surroundings.
